About the event

What if a garden could become a classroom?

Join Duck on the Fox and Evanston Grows for an interactive workshop exploring the connections between gardening, ecology, movement, and well-being. Together, we'll discover how the natural world supports not only healthy plants, but healthier minds through biodiversity, beneficial microbes, physical activity, curiosity, and community.

Participants will explore:

  • 🌿 The hidden ecological relationships that make gardens thrive

  • 🧠 How spending time in nature supports physical and mental well-being

  • 🚶 Gentle, context-inspired movement that encourages observation, connection, and learning
